Hi,
thanks for all previous help (been a lot)
have one more problem, my registration form remembers the last entry, I don't want to alarm people to see their emails will be given out to others, any suggestions

I'm using Joomla and 1.7x civicrm with a profile

Just a random guess, try clearing your browser cache and saved form values(firefox).

um, I"m not sure if thats it, IE or Firefox both have the problem, even when I'm in the backend testing, it automatically pulls in "administrator" for name and the affilated email address

seems like some sort of auto-fill or something

CiviCRM v1.7 does not have any auto-fil for profile fields. Its definately something to do with your system. Check your browser for autofill plugin etc..

Note that if your a logged in user, we remember the old values and retrieve them from the database

If you are doing multiple transactions as anonymous, make sure you clean out your cookies before attempting to simulate another user
