Drupalcon 2010 - San Francisco
September 02, 2009, 10:43:33 am
Hey all,

I'm here at drupalcon in Paris and just thought I'd report that news of drupalcon 2010 has been released and it will be in san francisco...

Since a fairly quiet showing of civi users here in Paris - maybe san francisco could be a better venue for the civi team/community to present and let more people know about it :)

Anyway, just sharing the news: http://drupalconsf2010.org/

Thanks,

Adam

Any thoughts on the timing of a training camp? That week is the school vacation week in Massachusetts so flights get booked pretty early, and I'd love to get a jump on buying my plane tickets!

Great -thanks! Not sure if I can get there in time for the session on the 17th but I'd really like to attend so I'm going to try!

Thought I'd re-open this thread to see which other Civi people are attending drupalcon since I finally bought my tickets to fly over! Unfortunately I couldn't afford the training on top of the hefty flight costs, but I'm wondering what other Civi-related things are happening over those days?

Thanks,

Adam

Ok so I should read more closely :) I just found this:

http://civicrm.org/blogs/cap10morgan/announcing-first-ever-civicon

Looks good! Although its a shame its the same time as the code sprint as that may hold a few people off. Still... will do my best to get there!

Anyone else coming?
