"Primary Address Field" Confusion for Drupal Account Creation
September 02, 2009, 01:18:03 pm
The manual says that in order for CiviCRM to handle new account creation for Drupal sites:

"You must include a Primary Email Address field in the profile for this feature to function properly. For Drupal sites, this feature also requires the Email Verification option to be checked under Drupal Administer » Users » User Settings."

The "Email" field is not technically editable in the profile, and if I create a custom field called "Primary Email Address" in the profile, there are two email fields to fill out when a user is signing up to be a member.

As it stands now, no Drupal account is being created at signup.  How can I make the Email address become the "Primary Email Address" that is shown on the signup page already?

Thanks,

WallyJ
