CiviContribute Form insists that State is not filled in!

Hi all,

Am about to launch my first Drupal/CiviCRM site and am having a weird problem with a CiviContribute form located here.  http://handson.server293.com/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=2  Every time I try to enter a new name, I get a prompt saying that I haven't filled out the state field which I have.  Entering it the 2nd time seems to work but it's extremely annoying to the user.  I found this one post http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,8586.0.html but am not using Mollom or Captcha or ReCaptcha. 

Any ideas?  I'm running Drupal 6.13 and CiviCRM 2.2.7.

since u only have one country (US), can u make that the default

alternatively flip the country and state field in the profile. There is some ajax which loads the state field when the country is selected which loses entered state information
