Author Topic: Using the same membership type name for different organizations (Read 1107 times)

If an organization has several chapters and each chapter has the same types of membership (e.g. General and Student), how should we set that up in CiviMember? It seems that we cannot have the same membership type names even though they are linked to different organizations.

You cannot do this in 3.1 and prior

if this is important to you/your org, please do investigate the problem and contribute a patch along with an issue. If you are not a developer, consider hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/
