Civi Mail: Report: Few Issues
September 04, 2009, 01:26:09 am
I'm using CiviCRM version 2.2.7
Summary Report:
1) Successful Deliveries: Every time it shows 100% successful deliveries. Added false email address with incorrect domain and junk user name. The same mail id gives failure message when sent through email client (Thunder bird)

2) Tracked Open: If I open mail from my thunderbird, tracked open counter is not incremented. The tracked open mail is incremented only when I open a mail from gmail/yahoo account.

3) Bounces: Always shows 0%. Even though the mail adress is invalid. I do get a failure notice mail when sent through thunderbird.

1. have u set CiviMailProcessor (or amavisd) to track the bounces?

2. Also check your smtp logs to see if it reports a hard bounce during the transaction. those should be recorded immediately
