Appreciate this may never have existed and may not therefore be a bug, but I noticed it now: when creating a smart group I have the basic search option, but not the option to do an advanced search to populate the group. Since I wanted a smart group of event attendees, that was an issue.

Issue appears on the sandbox.

OK, as I understand it there are two options for searches generally (e.g. when I'm searching for a contact) - there's the basic one which searches about three options, and then there's an 'advanced' option, which allows searches by all sorts of parameters. So for example, I can't use simple search to find contacts who signed up for a specific event, but I can do that with the advanced search.

In this case, I wanted a smart group which consisted of people who were signed up for an event - but using the smart group creation route didn't allow me to do an advanced search, and the basic search option was no use to me. I would expect that there should be a button to allow me to swop to advanced search in that case (as there is generally when I'm just looking for a contact for any other reason).

As I say, this may never have existed, but I would guess (based on no knowledge, obviously!) that either this existed before and has been lost, or wasn't there before but would be easy to add as the functionality is all there anyway. Either way, thought it worth mentioning...
