CiviEvent works with Civimembers?
August 22, 2007, 02:30:07 pm
Hi,
I'm totally new to CiviCRM and Drupal, and I'm having a little trouble getting CiviMember and CiviEvent to work together. Basically we run a large volunteering organization that matches volunteers with events. We are using CiviMember to get our members to create detailed profiles of themselves and then we are creating events in CiviEvent that they would want to register for. Whenever someone registers, is there a way for them to shortcut to registering with their CiviMember profile? All I can figure out how to do is collect all their contact info again.

Thanks for any ideas.

-Margaret

Margaret:

If you just want to collect information about the members, you might want to use simple profiles.

Do check: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Profiles
