Hello all,

I have the absolute latest versions of everything as of the time of this writing: CiviCRM, Drupal, Apache, PHP, MySQL and Linux.

For both new and renewing memberships (the only purpose on my site for CiviCRM is membership management), I need to collect a good bit more information than current appears.  This is what currently appears:

Email Address - what address is this?  When I change the Primary email address for a record, this email address does not update on the Contribution Page.  ?!?

Billing Name and Address (section)
- Billing First Name
- Billing Middle Name
- Billing Last Name
- Street Address
- City
- Country
- State / Province
- Postal Code

What I actually need to appear all together if possible is (all these fields must be from the user add/edit page(s):
- Salutation
- Billing First Name
- Billing Middle Name
- Billing Last Name
- Degree(s) or Designation(s)   
- E-mail Address
- Business Phone
- Fax   
- Title or Position
- Company or Institution
- First Mailing Address    
- Second Mailing Address (where is this field? - it is displayed in user add/edit page(s) as "Addt'l Address 1)
- Third Mailing Address (where is this field? - it is displayed in user add/edit page(s) as "Addt'l Address 2)
- City
- State / Province
- Postal Code
- Country    

Can this be done without customizing the code.  If not, perhaps an assessment of the extent to which the code would need to be altered?

I am using the latest version of Drupal 6, the latest version of CiviCRM 2, the latest version of PHP 5, the latest version of Apache 2, and I believe it is MySQL 5.  Not sure what is meant by "preferences".

I will *definitely* check out the book and links.
