I saw the other post about the blank screen/empty screen, and I did not get to even type one thing, so I have no option to test without any confirmation e-mails turned on.

Basically, I go through the installation steps, did the user synchronization and added the PHP options to the .htaccess files

InnoDb is working fine, and MOST of the civicrm works except, if I go to create a new contribution, I get an immediate blanks screen

I deleted the installation through the Extensions installs/uninstall, when in the systems and made sure all references to civcrm were gone form database and file system, Reinstalled (I am using the Joomla_alt.,zip) distribution.

Go to Contribute, Click on the New contribution Page and I get a blank screen.

That did the magic -- Updated PHP and it is all working fine.
