Custom Data Fields, Profiles, HTML!! OH MY!

Okay so CiviEvent is all set-up, my form is about 95% good to go and thanks to the messages on the board, and endless searches, I am almost there...just one question remains which boggles the mind.

I created a custom field, added the html that I wanted. In the "preview display", it looks the way it should and the way I want it to. But once I add the field to the form, its distorted....what gives? I have noticed the more fields, I add the form keeps getting pushed over to the right.

Your best bet will be to edit and tweak the html/css via firebug and see whats causing the fields to be pushed to the right. That will give us/you some clue as to what is happening and why (and potentially a solution too!)

I actually tweaked around with a few of my data fields, I found that the ones where you have a "notearea" are the ones that caused me the problem. I also realized that if i decided to decrease the width area of the "note" it would my form further to the right, and the greater the number, the more it pushed towards the left....75..seemed to be the most stable number for me. Thank you.

After i moved around fields, i decided to make my life easier and just install firefox and firebug...(yes, gasp, i am IE user, but i haven't made the switch from 7.0 to 8.0 yet) I did find an error that i don't know how to solve...i am still searching the forums for this...

Could not load 'dojo.nls.commonWidgets_en-us'; last tried './nls/commonWidgets_en-us.js'
http://www.mydomain.org/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/packages/dojo/dojo/dojo.js
Line 20

anyknow what this means exactly??? it apparently takes 112ms to load up.

I also noticed that my form reacts very differently in IE than in FireFox...

1. the horizontal scroll exists for some reason in IE and not in FireFox.
2. Event Fees don't require me to double click to get the arrow to go down. (i have to do this in IE, click twice)
3. Event Fees actually total how much I owe in FireFox, this doesn't show up in IE.

Could all of that be caused by that one error??????????
