Missing mailing labels

Tried this on the development sandbox
- Find contacts
- Select all (total 113 records)
- Choose "Mailing Labels"
- Label = 5160, Location = Primary
- Deselect "Do not print labels for ...."
- Make mailing labels

The resulting pdf file has only 60+ records instead of 113.

Have also tried in our development servers, all with similar outcome - a lot of contacts are missing in the pdf file.

I remember seeing a similar post about missing mailing labels but cannot locate it now.

make sure contacts should not be deceased.
( since we want to give respect therefore we are not creating mailing labels for deceased contacts. )

also you might want to read more and view awesome tutorial to create mailing labels. :)

Will go back and check if the missing labels are all from contacts that are deceased.

IMHO, it would be useful to show those contacts differently or, somehow, be able to exclude them from the search.  Cos if we see xxx contacts selected and the number of labels printed is less than xxx, we will start to wonder what has gone wrong.

Want to create and submit a patch that gives the user a warning that deceased contact addresses will not be printed? This message can be on the mailing label page
