CiviReport and Joomla
September 10, 2009, 12:49:58 am
Hello Board,

I am having great difficulty in this area of CiviCrm. It has installed perfectly, everything works EXCEPT for the CiviReport. I can access it from the left menu, in the CiviCRM Menu itself. But If you go to the Joomla Interface, where all the components are listed, CiviReport is NOT listed, although in the Administer CRM menu, CiviReport IS IN FACT enabled!

I made some test registrations. I can see them in the screen when i click civireport to just view. BUT if i try to print, pdf, or export to CSV. I get the following message.

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
There is a validation error with your HTML input. Your activity is a bit suspicious, hence aborting.

I have not configured or played with anything, I did the basic install, no customizing.
Any suggestions?? this site is supposed to go live in the next 24 hours.

can you try to reproduce the same issue on http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/

in general if you have a time deadline, you might be better off hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/

I tried to reproduce the same issue in the demo and it doesn't seem to be an issue on the demo....any suggestions...would I be able to update the module or re-install something without losing all the data and registration information I have created???
