Allo,
I'm trying to stream line the process of adding all participants to our mass mailing list. Any one have any suggestions on the best way to do that? thx, jayson

that's what i was looking to do.
So to have all the participants automatically added to our newsletter mailing list, I created a group for the specific event (Fall 09 Students) then I made that group's parent our "newsletter" group. Then I did what you showed me, used the advanced settings under the profile settings link to add all the profile applicants to the Fall 09 Students group. So now when they sign up they're automatically added to our mailing list. thx, again, jayson

Found an easier and better way to do this. Go to manage events and choose an event's participants, then select all participants and choose make new smart group. Then this creates a dynamic group that keeps adding new participants to the group as they sign up. And then add the "newsletter" as the parent to the smart group.
