Profiles with checkboxes not creating HTML Snippet
September 11, 2009, 01:31:25 am
I am incorporating a few HTML snippets from profiles (from standalone) on my website. When a profile includes a check box (or radio buttons, or multi select, etc) the HTML snippet is basically blank. It includes the java and the intros, but has no form.

How do I incorporate the custom data field with a check box into an HTML snippet?

The particular check box question is used in another form and works fine on a contribution page. Since I also want people not making contributions to be able to sign up, I need the checkbox question available in the HTML snippet used on the site. (another contrib page won't work obviously)

any ideas?

what is the problem with using another profile using the same field and grabbing the standalone code and putting in your page?

Checkboxes won't work on any of the HTML snippets. Whether they are on their own in a profile or combined with other fields in a profile. I can't grab the code. I cannot get standalone code or HTML snippets from any profile that contains a check box (or other select type field.)

The only place they seem to work in on the contribution pages, which seems to have a different format. I tried grabbing the code from that page and it didn't work. If there is a way that I can incorporate the code from that page onto a standalone form that does not ask for a contribution, please let me know.
