Un-Recoverable Error on Import

This was working as I was testing importing a couple of test records. After trying to change the profile used for searches, I can also no longer Export from search results.

Can you give more details on your CiviCRM install. Also try to replicate this on http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org

Failed in the demo

System

CentOS 5.2
CiciCRM 2.2.8 on Joomla 1.5.10
I'll have to check PHP, MySQL and Apache versions later, but I know they are at least the minimum required.

I'm Importing now.

Still can't Export - but I'll troubleshoot that later.

Importing seems to be limited to 20 Records.

I have been doing some sample data sets import of 20 records in each file.

I just tried to import a file with 100 records in it. Only 20 Rows imported.

I think there is a newer post that is related, so I am going to check that thread.

After reading the other thread on Rows Not importing, and I am using Excel 2003. I decided to use CSVed program to save the file to csv format.

When I uploaded that file, I was able to reproduce the error's. Since I am sure that this is an issue with the format created by CSVed and my other problems are due to Excel, I am downloading openoffice as I type.

I'm sure that will solve more than just this issue.

Consider solved if I do not post back.

Perhaps someone should update the documentation to indicate for best results, use OpenOffice..

All 485 record imported.  I have some duplicate relationships, but those can be manually deleted.
