Frontend Session Issues - CiviContribute - 'Could not find valid Key'
April 30, 2007, 11:31:16 am
Ok, I had this working a few days ago with J!-PHP5-B.2984.  I've since installed a second instance using J!-PHP5-B.9327

But I notice now...my frontend "civicrm/contribute/transact" is failing...because it can't find a KEY.

As I understand it, this is a session Read/Write issue...

I've setup the Payment processor as PayPal Standard..and I had this working a few days ago...so I think it has something to do with my server settings or something, but I don't remember making any changes to the first install...

Can someone point me in the correct direction?

If you want to view my debug:

http://www.charterfishnetwork.com/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&reset=1&id=1&Itemid=13

Shouldn't CiviCRM be creating a session when I try to do this?

If I clear all my sessions/cookies..there is no session file created when I try the CiviContribute Transaction in the frontend.  Even if I log in to the Joomla Frontend, and try it...still no session file created.

A session file IS created if I log into the Joomla Backend, and if I return to the Joomla Frontend and try the CiviContribute transaction, that session file is updated with CiviCRM info including what looks like my KEYS, etc..

This seems like the problem... since I'm guessing the CiviContribute uses sessions and KEYS to communicate with PayPal.

Any ideas?
