menu not working?
September 16, 2009, 02:05:55 pm
Hi,
I have done a clean install of civicrm 2.2.9 to Joomla 1.5.14 and got the component installed successfully.
However when I go to the admin back-end and then try to access the component (Components>CiviCRM Home) I get a list of links (CiviCRM Home, Find Contacts.......Administer CiviCRM) but nothing else and when I click on any link I only get the list of links.

Did I miss anything? Any help much appreciated.

Adriaan

Did you proceed as per instructions given in - http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Joomla+Installation+Guide ?

No clear idea on what could be causing the issue, but few checks -
1. Go through the troubleshooting section of the doc.
2. Check logs for any clues.
3. Make sure permissions are correct etc (search forum).

I did follow the instructions and I got till point 5 and the last bullet does not do it for me. I see the Administer CiviCRM link but when I click it the same page reloads. So I only have a page with the links, the look like domainname/administrator/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin&reset=1

Anything?
