Building the equivalent of a Salesforce Web-to-lead form?
September 16, 2009, 05:06:38 pm
Hi all,

We've just started using CiviCRM over at http://www.plml.org, and love it so far. One thing we're trying to figure out is if we could put the equivalent of a Salesforce web-to-lead form on our partner sites, e.g., educational project sites, such that people could become contacts in our system without having to leave the other site.

Is there anything like this in CiviCRM, or any other simple way to build a mailing-list signup form?

Thanks for your help!

You should look into CiviCRM profiles. They are a great way to collect info on your or any website via a form: http://en.flossmanuals.net/CiviCRM/CapturingExposing

hope it helps
