Can no longer copy event...
September 23, 2009, 07:41:02 am
Upon installing civicrm 2.2.9 I was able to copy an event and modify the copied event successfully. Then, I attempted to import a csv file with several new events into the civicrm_event table. The attempt was not successful. The error indicated that there was a problem importing the first row. So, I returned to the civicrm event manager. When I clicked on the button to copy an event, now there is no event created. When I look at the table, I do see a new record is created, but I can not access that newly copied event in the civicrm event manager.

What changes do I need to make in the tables to get this working again?

How might I import rows of events successfully?

kinda hard to say what changes you need to make to get things working again. Not sure what you imported and how it affected the current events. You might want to create a new event and see if copy works from the newly created event

After your reply, I went back to try and copy a newly created event. It worked. I discovered that when I copied the earlier event, the time had passed and the event was copied, but with the same dates (as it should be copied). When I looked at older events, I found the copied events right there where they should be. I should have checked this prior to my first post.

Thanks for your reply!
