Any ideas for CiviCRM cookbook?

I'm speccing out a project for people with basic CiviCRM skills. When I'm doing a dev project there's always a whole bunch of stuff I do for CiviMember because that's what I specialise in.
Without going into rocket science, does anyone else have what I would call 'cookbook' ideas for stuff that comes up time and time again?

Hey Tony,

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but at the last book sprint I talked a lot with some people like Lisa Jervis and Kellie Brownell about writing documentation that would be complementary to the current book which looked at topics from a much more user focused point of view.  I thought Kelly wrote a blog post on it: http://civicrm.org/blog/11510 but I can't seem to find it now - might be worth asking / contacting her.
