Testing Credit Card Payments in Wordpress

Hello,

I've set up a Membership sign up page with a couple of different membership options and then the credit card billing info. The form is in "test" mode and was added under "Pages" in the Wordpress Dashboard. When I go to submit the form, it asks me for a valid credit card number. I've tried two different cards that are valid and can't get it to accept the payment. When I click submit, it takes me to a partially rendered page on my site, or alternatively, it will sometimes reprint the form and highlight the credit card number field and ask me to put in a valid cc number. Anybody know why it's doing this? How can I fix?
