Errors after Install

These errors are on every page making the application unusable. I have to scroll all the way down on a page to see anything. Any help kindly appreciated.

You probably need to check your php's available memory limit, check http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,1855.0.html for more details.

I get those memory warnings, immediately after i login into civicrrm after the initial installation.  Prior to drupal/civicrm installations, i did set the memory  limit in /etc/php.ini to the below.

memory_limit = 128M

The memory warnings seem to go away after i reboot.

But i am still getting the following warnings, in reference to date/time/timezones at the top of every page i go to which repeats over and over again.
I have to scroll way down to see the items of the actual.

The correct  time for my timezoze is displayed on the computer.
The setting in drupal date and time seeting has the correct time, as shown in the attached image.

Any help kindly appreciated.

Ok, i think i may have got the "timezone" error warnings in my previous reply fixed.

In "/etc/php.ini', i added the following which was not there, for my location.

[Date]
; Defines the default timezone used by the date functions
; http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.configuration.php#ini.date.timezone
date.timezone = "America/New_York"

; http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.configuration.php#ini.date.default-latitude
date.default_latitude = 40.638611

; http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.configuration.php#ini.date.default-longitude
date.default_longitude = 73.762222

# /sbin/service httpd restart

I am still a bit concerned, that a reboot seems to get rid of the memory_limit error warning after an install. Even though the setting were in place.
