Is this a new install or an upgrade? Are you using a custom template for Joomla? Are there any JS errors showing up? Did you test in both IE and Firefox?

My solution after doing the 3.3.1 --> 3.3.2 upgrade today was to empty the browser cache in Firefox.

Only upgrades within the 3.3.x series have caused this trouble for us.

menu link generator supposed to behave like the joomla one?

I have no idea what you might mean by that. And I have not worked with Civi and Joomla together, only Civi + Drupal.

i got just noticed that I got the same problem since i upgrade to 3.3.2.
shoult this not have been fixed in this version?

the tree does not get loaded, neither in ff or ie, i emptied cache, nothing works.

i use drupal. not sure about the templates, but i dont think that i got any. no errors showing up, just the rotating loading thing. i tested ie, ff and opera. same result everywhere.
