Is there a way to disable the new pdf attachment on email confirmation?

Cos it it is very poorly formatted, looks rubbish, and there seems to be no obvious way to change that.

Got to say never looked at it.

Wouldn't it be better that you improve the layout instead of trying to disable it altogether?

Would love to... but I couldn't find where to even modify it. Can you point me in the right direction? I tried looking through a few places where I thought it might be but came up empty. Thanks!

Just saw a thread below mine that ended up getting an answer on where to disable the pdf being sent:

http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,18012.0.html

But that part of the code led me to figure out that its simply grabbing the normal event html and converting it to pdf. Is this not correct? If it is, it would be great to be able to have a separate template for the pdfs.

Yes it is. The html to pdf works mostly ok, but seems to be a bit sensitive on what's on it.

Shouldn't be complicated to have two formats, however, if you want a pixel perfect one, you probably will have to do it using the native php functions (what we are doing for the event badges for instance).
