Everything in the installation process seems to work fine .... from the last page of the installation, when everything is completed I try to click the link with CONFIGURATION CHECKLIST ... but no luck, because i immediately get this message "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."

Also when in my Drupal-site and click the CiviCRM link to the Dashboard, same errror message here "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."

Unfortunately "trying later" won't resolve anything, instead i am wondering what went wrong?

Can you see your Apache error log? It sounds like a PHP error, but it's impossible to say without more data.

Perhaps a RAM error as well. Do you know the memory limit set for PHP? Go to Reports -- Status Report and click on the link next to PHP and find "memory_limit" on that page.

In cPanel I can see an option to view "last 300 error log messages" but I need to repeat installation and check for the entries in that log for the time of the install i guess ...

on RAM-memory ... i guess i set it to 1024M in php.ini and in Status report i can confirm 1024M ....

1024 is more than enough. But can't you click on the CiviCRM link to get the error now?

when clicking the CiviCRM link i get this in the logs ...

which is not telling me very much ...

I think you will need to either ask your hosting support to figure out the problem, or just find another host that can handle CiviCRM...

I probably will first try to install CiviCRM again but with a total fresh Drupal-install on a test domain ... so I can assure myself it's not something (some other module or configuration) in my Drupal site that makes the CiviCRM install unhappy ...  Don't think this is the case, since I managed to install CiviCRM with this Drupal site on my local MAMP server without any problem.

CiviCRM successfully installed an a completey fresh Drupal7-installation on the same webhost where i have the problematic Drupal-7-site which does not let me work with Drupal. So it's not  question of the website host ....

Can add another question since I get another error message saying "Multiple Languages Support:
In order to use this functionality, the installation's database user must have privileges to create triggers (in MySQL 5.0 – and in MySQL 5.1 if binary logging is enabled – this means the SUPER privilege). This install either does not seem to have the required privilege enabled. (Multilingual support currenly cannot be enabled on installations with enabled logging.)"

what means "SUPER PRIVILEDGE" exactly? in phpmyadmin, should I mark ALL priviledges for the user of a database? or just Trigger-priviledge?

Super privilege is a special feature of MySQL < http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/privileges-provided.html > that will be be exposed on any standard shared host. If you want it anyhow, you would have to ask your host.

this is just to much ... no solution in sight yet !

when surfing around on the drupal site, with this issue not resolved there can pop upp error messages like these ...

after switching to another theme (Bartik) i get this error message ...

"The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later" (the same as with my custom theme) but in addition there also comes this
