Profiles for Organic Groups Synched to CiviCRM
January 28, 2008, 08:37:53 pm
Hi,

Not sure where this has been talked about but I have set up Drupal organic groups to be synced with Civicrm...

Users interface with organic groups whilst the admin is building up details in Civicrm for future use. i.e. mail, skills searching etc.

I would like to add fields into the registration forms ie name, number, location etc and have it sync with civicrm.... is this possible and how??

thanks

cameron

The CiviCRM Profiles functionality allows you to assign a set of CiviCRM fields to a Profile and then tell CiviCRM to include that Profile in the Drupal new user registration form. Doc for this is here:

Hi Dave,

I have successfully set up and link the profile however when I go to sign up the following is shown?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /home/wwwsoci/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Member/BAO/Membership.php on line 1034

Do you know about this error....???
thanks

Cameron

CiviCRM generally requires memory limit of 64MB - you can check this forum post:

http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,1855.0.html

... and search for others on the forum for info on checking and increasing memory.
