Event keeps replicating

I have an event that keeps copying itself over and over.  I have 3 "real" events and now 27771 copies.  Anyone know what would cause this or how I can delete them all?  Thanks!

Did you choose to repeat the event in the setup?  That is the only thing I can think of that would cause this issue. Have you disabled the original event to see if replication stops?

I think that was the problem.  I took away the permission.  Does that mean now that only authenticated users can register for an event?

You should give "CiviEvent: register for events" permission to the anon user for allowing them to register to the events.

To follow up with this I would also iterate, I DO NOT allow anon's to register, I ONLY allow those with User IDs and corresponding Contact records to register. So only allow anon if you want them to register without a User ID creation. Sorry Yashodha, hope that doesn't confuse the situation.

SIDE NOTE: Nice to have met you, Kurund and others in San Fran. I'm sad to have missed CiviCon. Next year for sure!
