500 - Error when creating personal campaign pages

Hi, I am using Joomla 2.5.7 and CiviCRM 4.2.2.

Getting this error:

500 - Passed array does not specify a callable static method (cannot access private method JLoader::_autoload())

When I try to confirm creating the personal page. This issue was brought up here:

It also appears someone looked at it here:

 Guess I am confused with the Won't Fix resolution. Is it not fixable with J 2.5.x and the HTML Purifier issue? Anyone have any idea on this issue? Is there any patch? Didn't see much more on the topic aside from these 2 posts. Thanks.

we cannot reproduce this error either locally or on our demo servers. If you can do so that would be great

Might also be related to your PHP version, might want to consider upgrading to PHP 5.3.x

I'm hosting my site on godaddy. Confirmed it was using php 5.3. Not sure if it is best practice to post my site here, but in the interest of recreating the error. I am trying to test register for my event here:

Everything is fine up to actually creating my personal campaign page (Person is registered for event, contact record created, joomla user created, joomla activation email sent). I get this error after setting my title, message, goal amount etc. Clicking save on that page triggers the error.

you need to reproduce this on the demo servers at http://demo.civicrm.org/

I have managed to replicate the error I am having on the demo server. Trying to register for event and then create personal campaign page, after entering personal page info, title, goal etc. Get this error

Passed array does not specify a callable static method (cannot access private method JLoader::_autoload())

Event can be accessed here:

can you follow the trail and see if you can help debug and fix the error. a quick google search reveals this:

dont know how we could solve it, since we include quite a few other 3rd party packages that also use the autoloader. might want to pursue it in the joomla forums?

I'm am having this same issue...all is well until step 2 of the personal campaign creation. I click save and get hit with this error:

Error 500!

Has anyone found a solution for this issue?

Am I missing something?

Where is the patch? Or better yet how do I install the patch...I don't see a 4.2.7 version available for download. I'm new to this.

Also, just to be more specific...this is happening coming out of a successful event registration. Not the Personal Campaign Pages associated with a contribution page.

Ugh, now this presents a whole new issue. When I go into the backend, to Administer CiviCRM any link I click kicks to the front end with a CiviCRM-001!

You do not have permission to access this page

Not sure what happened. Not sure if they are related or just a coincidence.

Just to clarify...I only get redirected to the front page with the error when I use the links on the "Anministration Console" from the regular dropdowns i can access them fine. Sorry, for blowing up this post...just trying to be helpful with as much info as possible.
