Prior to 4.3.1 it appeared as if the usage function would count use based on a per individual basis.  If usage was set to 1, then a user could use the coupon one time and then another user could use the coupon also.  Now it appears as if usage controls how many times a coupon may be used globally.  If a user uses the coupon and usage is set to 1, then no other user may use it.

We prefer the first method.  We would like to offer a special price for first time signups.  Discount was the way we got this done.  Has this function changed?  Is there a way to give a first time signup a special price?

Hey Lobo, thanks for getting back to me. 

We really need a way to give first time members a break on membership.  I was using the discount code method, but 4.3.0 and .1 it was working perfectly (for me at least) as a once per person discount. 

Is there a way to give someone a break the first time they sign up for a membership, but not thereafter?  If anyone has any tips it would be so very helpful.

Please consider adding the ability to make a discount code can be configured to work either as a number of times globally (the way it works now) or individually on a per user basis (the way it used to work).
