Drupal Account Creation for existing Contacts
August 23, 2013, 04:35:06 pm
I was wondering if there was a way to support this work flow.
  1. Create a contact without a Drupal Account
  2. At some point down the line, preferably from the contact record itself, have a new drupal account created via a simple admin action.

I saw a reference to this feature here: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,10090.0.html
but not sure if anything came out of it.

So i guess I have a two part question, first, has it been done, and second if not what would be the best approach other than just having staff members go to the account creation page and remember to use the same email address as the contact.
