Upgrading from Drupal 6 to 7 with CiviCRM going from 4.3.5 to 4.4.3
December 23, 2013, 10:39:37 am
I'm running a Drupal 6 installation with CiviCRM 4.3.5 and I'm preparing to upgrade to Drupal 7 and the most recent version of CiviCRM. Should I upgrade Drupal first or CiviCRM first? I've not yet done a major Drupal upgrade, only minor so I'm not sure what some of the CiviCRM related issues may be. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for the links. I actually did search on Google for information before posting but saw nothing specific to my situation. I did neglect, however, to search withing this forum.

My preference is always to upgrade CiviCRM first. If you don't rely on drupal integration modules there should be very little change between CiviCRM for drupal 6 & for Drupal 7 - but if you use views, webform etc you can expect to need to look closely at them

For the record, webform-civicrm-integration  has a clean upgrade path from 6 to 7.
Views, probably less clean.
