4.5.2 -> 4.5.3 no db migrations?

I just upgraded from 4.5.2 to 4.5.3, but when I loaded /civicrm/upgrade&reset=1 I did not see any upgrade screen. Should I have seen an upgrade screen, database migrations, etc?

There must be something going on with the upgrade process. I am seeing a few people talking about this.
