having trouble finding CiviGrant

I followed some advice i found in a recent thread ( http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=4214.0 ) about where to find/enable CiviGrant in the 2.1 sandbox, but I'm still not seeing the "grants" tab, and no grants pannel under summary either.   I went into administer > global settings and into both 'enable components' and 'site preferences' and ensure that Grants was selected, but.. still no "Grants' tab did I see.  Am I missing something terribly obvious?  ???  thanks in advance

Interestingly I was about to ask the same about the Pledge tab - the component is 'on' but no tab showing

Its showing correctly Grant and Pledge tab in Contact Summary.

Check http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=102

It was drupal role permission issue. Now it should work.

To see the tabs in contacts you also need to have them checked under global settings/ site preferences. Could this be it?
