Error - Please set a location type of Bill

I am using CiviCRM 1.7.9379.
I set up a test event and then clicked on "live page" which looks fine, but when i click on "Register Now" i receive the following error:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
Please set a location type of Billing


I set the location type so i'm not sure why this error is occuring.

Also i should add that when i click on test drive, i actually get the live page.  I do not see the message, "Test-drive your event registration page"

Any ideas?

The upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7 "should have" inserted a new Location Type called "Billing" into your DB. Can you check under Administer CiviCRM >> Location Types to see if it's there. If not, you can add it manually. (Was this site upgraded from 1.6? Were there any error messages during the upgrade?).

Yes, this site was upgraded from 1.6.
I think perhaps this problem is related to another problem that i posted about previously http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,293.0.html

the event type options were not showing up for me.  So i ran the civicrm_generated.mysql and the database tables were populated appropriately, however for some reason, they are still not showing up when i go into event type options in the admin menu. I am, however able to enter new event types.

You'll see from the post that i expored several possibilities with Michael Mach, but then i didn't follow up further with him as i became busy with Drupal-related issues and am just now getting back into the civievent module.

Any other possibilities to explore would be most welcomed.

Unless you find that you're pointing CiviCRM to another DB in civicrm.settings.php - I don't have any other ideas. I guess getting on IRC w/ Michal at some point if the best bet at this point.
